We had the most magical stay at Las Chimeneas. David and everyone from the staff was super welcoming and made us feel right at home the second we stepped foot in their gorgeous hotel. I wish we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding mountains. Special mention for the delicious food as well.

The tapas in the bar on the second night was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Yegen is a pleasant village with a literary history The main road running past the accommodation was extremely quiet. The views across the valley are good.

The room was beyond beautiful. We were welcomed by a delicious cake, the bed was comfy. The kitchen and everything was super clean. Enjoyed the balcony. And the host was really nice, we didn't manage to check in within the check in times and he allowed us to check in later! Many thanks!
The villa is located in the oldest part of Ugijar. It is very spacious and full of character. The views from the terraces are stunning, and the whole area is very peaceful. A very good place to recharge one's batteries, and within easy reach of other small villages in the Alpujarra. The two small local museums are well worth a visit. They are full of fascinating information about the historical and social background of the region.
