The location right in the old centre of Ubeda is brilliant.
The apartment itself is a bit dark but that is what you get with such an old building with very thick walls and small windows. Keeps the apartment nice and cool ;-) All the modcons were there so it is a good place to stay if you want to visit Ubeda and its surroundings for a couple of days.
We don´t have Whatsapp but host José did his best to give us all the information we needed in time. Muchas gracias José!

Excellent location in the heart of the town, absolutely clear guidance from the host... he explained in detail how to find the property, where to park the car to easy unload our luggage, how to enter the property with the code etc. He also provided clear information on how to get to the garage.
Regarding the property we were placed on the top floor, attic. Well equipped apartment, clean, modern, the interesting thing is that the lift was coming directly into the apartment (there is a separate key for it) - for the floors below, the lift was normally stopping in the corridor. From the apartment there is a wonderful view on the roofs in the downtown Ubeda.

This was a fabulous apartment! There are four separate apartments in the building, two on the ground floor and two upstairs. Ours was on the ground floor, with direct access to the courtyard. The other ground floor unit also has direct access, while the two upper units must enter through a shared hallway. In the courtyard there’s comfortable seating, clotheslines, and clothes pegs - wonderful! There’s a free public parking lot +/- 150 metres away; we were always able to find a parking spot. The apartment is within easy walking distance to everything in town, but it’s in a very quiet area. It’s completely silent at night! The owner was always available by phone and provided us with clean towels, toilet paper, etc., when we needed them.

What a beautiful 16th century boutique hotel with clean and modern renovations! The staff were consistently wonderful and accommodating. The location was quiet and surrounded by lovely medieval architecture. The incredibly comfortable bed was so appreciated after long bike rides we took to enjoy the endless olive groves and other small villages in the Jáen province. We hope to return to this very special place.
Located in the most delightful, central and picturesque situation in the whole village! Many restaurants within a few minutes walk. The lift was an unexpected bonus saved having to lug the the suitcases up the stairs!
This property is better than most of the period villas in town that charge to look around, plus you get to stay. I definitely recommend you book here if you get the chance. The owner is lovely and it’s wonderfully decorated. This is a real one-off.
