Our hosts were very very helpfull and friedly and reachable for all questions we have had. It is a good startpiont for hiking tours. The house is situated in a small village occasionally visited by tourists aiming for the trails to Monte del Agua and Cuevas Negras. If you are a hiker or a cyclist then you have a great opportunity to find interesting destinations within walking or biking distance from the house. Of course, you will be looking for a good beach nearby so I would recommend the natural beauty of Playa de Las Arenas at Buenavista del Norte. The village itself is usually very calm and the neighbors are very nice and helpful. You have to be aware that you are going to live 1000 meters above sea level, so the weather is considerably cooler than on the coast. On the other hand, the air quality is splendid here. The house is simple and nice. The furniture provides good comfort after an active day. There are some bits of luxury like a jacuzzi and a huge TV monitor. The kitchen allows for the preparation of simple meals. We visited Monte del Agua House in December so we appreciated effective electric heaters.
