As a budget bikepacker I like to get value for money. I got it here. Modern spacious room with private bathroom. A fan in the room and tv plus ample cupboard space. Located within 20 minutes’ drive of Cabarceno Natural Park, Santillana del Mar and Santander, Hosteria El Capricho offers a restaurant on-site. Free WiFi is available throughout.
The hotel is next to the river and close to the restaurants and bars in Puente Viesgo and just a short drive to the ferry at Santander. There is plenty of parking and the rooms are excellent. It's just a short drive/walk to the stunning caves above the village. Well worth booking the caves online if you are staying at the hotel.
