I thought I'd paid and booked. The owner did help me sort the problem. Appreciated after driving in the heat for 350k, but were treated like criminals while this was done - It was our 4th day on the road. If we had not travelled so far that day and been completely exhausted we would have left and not stayed the night.

Easy and quick to get to off the main road towards Santander. Only an hour and a half from Santander which makes the day of Traveling to the ferry relaxing. The huge stone building is beautifully maintained to the highest aesthetic standards set peacefully at the edge of a tiny village with parking right outside for easy unpacking. The entrance, like everything is poetic artistic and of very high quality. On entry I was met by our two hosts who care for every detail of your stay. This is the second time I’ve been here and I will come back again and again. There’s a friendly family relaxing atmosphere in the opulent comfortable lounge and dining areas. Everywhere your eyes land there is gratitude for the beauty that warms the heart. The bedrooms are high quality white cotton bedding with huge cushions all immaculate with quality bathroom and fixtures and fittings. Me and other guests I spoke with all talked of the deep relaxing sleeping. The building is blessed as are the hosts for creating a haven of rest and relaxation. Breakfast is plentiful continental style with freshly squeezed orange juice delivered by hand to your table in a large jar. I love it there.
