Very friendly and helpfull host who gave us good advise. Excellent meal and exceptional good breakfast. Quiet nice location, not so far from Potes but still a 25 min drive from Fuente De. Parking no problem.

An extremely characterful hotel, handily located near Potes. Set in beautiful gardens surrounded by superb mountain scenery. We received a very warm welcome from the delightful staff who made excellent recommendations about places to eat and nearby walks. Vanessa made the apartment so homely as if it was a home away from home but with better views! We had our almost 2 year old son with us and Vanessa even went above and beyond to include dining utensils and a children’s paddling pool for him! The apartment is in a great location and a short walk to the village of Potes itself which helped tire out our son in the evenings!
The Alquitara complex looks really stunning from the outside. Nice, old buildings and a garden loaded with al sorts of flowers. Handy -free- parking on site.
We had a studio apartment (3th floor-no lift) with a little balcony with stunning views all around. It is an excellent location for trips in the Picos de Europa and the lovely village of Potes.
Hotel is ideally located for hiking tours in the Picos de Europa and surrounding mountains, Ojedo is a small village and not so crowded than Potes, friendly host; optionally, you can take breakfast in the bar, at one evening our host prepared a wonderful vegetarian paella for us, rooms are small but clean.
