Julio and Gloria are the highlight but also the hostel is clean, conveniently located, modern and comfortable. Julio gave me a great recommendation on where to eat and where to go in town. The washing machine and dryer are free to use! I normally skip breakfast but one can’t just skip Gloria’s cake!

The Casa was in a very quiet area. The hosts were exceptional. They provided a lovely breakfast and dinner to suit our needs. They were very attentive and friendly. We could not have asked for more. The rooms were immaculate and great attention was given to detail. The building is very historical with modern facilities. We were treated like family.

Our host could not have been more accommodating. We were walking the Camino and she organised for our luggage to be delivered straight to the apartment before we arrived. She also arranged airport transfers for us. The apartment was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Fantastic to have 2 bathrooms for the 5 of us. And there is a cozy cafe just up the road that serves delicious coffee as well as a supermarket close by.

The apartment was very central, clean and comfortable and easy to find. We were walking the Camino so it was the perfect spot with a supermarket near by and within walking distance of the old part of town.

Everything was perfect for us. The apartment block is modern, yet in a street that feels authentic with old relics, and we were able to book a ground floor and very even and flat surface one for my partner , who has reduced mobility and can't manage stairs. For him also, we were grateful for the large walk in shower - good water pressure and plentiful hot water. I enjoyed swimming in the pool even though it was a little chilly in October (I was glad it was still an option to go in the pool!). Good cooking facilities and equipment including interesting toasting machine ! also supermarkets 5-10 mins walk away is very convenient. The owner was easy to speak with over Whatsapp and met us on arrival and very kindly let us use a charge card to charge up our hybrid car. That was a real bonus as it is not easy to find places with charge points. The location is superb if you like walking; you can easily walk to a waterfalls walk (which is magical & beautiful) and along the coastal path of the Ria from the property- that walkway is really interesting and has fabulous views. You can easily walk to other nice villages like Combarro too.

The rustic look and feel of the hotel made it very homely and comfortable, the owners of the place were amazing with equally amazing staff. The breakfast was good; ham, cheese, and eggs cooked or fried to your preference with a good choice of fruit. There was also a good choice of freshly squeezed juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. A variety of cereals would have been nice even if not available at the time, the guests could have been asked what they would like upon arrival notwithstanding this is a suggestion not a negative. The location was great with beautiful scenery with the sounds of nature all around, It was great to go walking early in the morning, it was so peaceful with so much greenery around and fresh clean air. There are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby with lots of amazing places to eat. We had friends who had rental cars hence, if you want to get around to seeing more of the place you would need to hire a car but if it is for a few days of rest you can just go to the nearby shops. The hotel's restaurant menu was quite varied with amazing dishes, especially the fresh fish which we had almost every evening as everything was so delicious, freshly sourced and cooked. We had a great and enjoyable experience and we would go back again.
