Truly charming rural hotel in this hidden valley above Barco de Avila.A real oasis of calm with incredible views of the Gredos mountains. Beautiful, furnishings in the spacious bedrooms. Large but cosy sitting rooms, gorgeous terracota terraces looking out over the garden and Sierra. The service was warm and friendly sorting our every need. We ate twice in the restaurant in the evening and lunch the following day because the outside terrace was such a special spot.The food was good, both the fish and meat. We really fell in love with the place and area. Perfect for walking and cycling and close to the town of Barco. We shall return! Very good value for money!

The owners live on site and are a really friendly and interesting couple, who will go out of their way to make your experience even more memorable. Jerte is located in a beautiful part of the world surrounded by stunning natural wonders. We would certainly love to stay there again!

A beautiful place in the Sierra de Gredos, with plenty of walking opportunities. The host knows the region very well and provided us with detailed information about the walking trails. The breakfast was delicious, with all types of local goods. The rooms are spacious and clean.
