We have just spent 7 wonderful days at Casa Bambu, the hosts Esteban and Miriam are so welcoming. Their knowledge of the local area and reccomendations made exploring this part of Spain a real adventure. The accommodation is perfect for the location. The studio contained everything we needed for a week.

Esteban tries to use as much locally sourced produce as possible, and each morning, a detailed description of what he has prepared, something we looked forward to.
The area is rural. Please do your research. The Casa is situated on top of a steep concrete road with the most amazing views. There are several terraces to sit and watch the world below. The village is walkable, but a car is a must if you wish to explore. The coast is 20 minutes away by car if you want a day at the beach. Although the pool area is beautiful, with plenty if beds and seating.
This charming, converted rural school is set in Trapiche, 10 minutes’ drive from Vélez-Málaga and 10 km from the beach. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, trampoline, barbecue and free WiFi zone.

We were looking for a quiet weekend away in the countryside and that is what we got! The property is close to Velez Malaga and a short drive to the coast but it's setting is so peaceful. Our hosts were excellent, attentive, friendly and on hand at all times, if needed. The pool area and gardens are delightful. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Tasty breakfast both mornings with fresh produce. Easy private parking.

I loved my stay at José and his wife's beautiful home in Salto Del Negro. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with two comfortable beds and a bed/couch, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The BBQ and jacuzzi were great additions that enhanced our experience. José and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming, offering us helpful suggestions on places to visit. The area itself is peaceful, with friendly neighbors, making it a perfect retreat just outside of Torre del Mar. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway!

This was our 3rd visit, the last one March 2020. Booked rooms previously but opted for an apartment this time. Very pleased, very spacious and well equipped. Kitchen for self-catering.Great balcony and everything you could need. Room was serviced every 2 days.

Great location and facilities. Plenty of space for a large group staying together. Outside kitchen is amazing. The shower room next to the pool is a real help with young children.

This property was meant for myself and my brothers with our other halves but sadly they had to stay at home. The entry staff was very helpful and informative of the area. The villa is an exceptional place for a great family getaway with absolutely everything you would need for a wonderful break. Very clean, tidy, and well presented. A topsy-turvy arrangement with the bedrooms downstairs and living accommodation upstairs, but it works excellently.
Lovely relaxing place set on a hillside with great views. Room was quirky with everything you need for a great stay. We didn’t have breakfast but the room where it was served had fantastic views. Unfortunately the terrace running alongside the dining room which had great views wasn’t made available to guests during the day. Whilst we didn’t use it, there was a very well stocked mini bar. Small village but does have 2 bars and a supermarket within walking distance.

Great Location surrounding by the lake and mountains.The house very clean,and very big .We loved it. The pool big and very clean .The host Antonio very nice and helpful person.On the day of our arrival he has been so kind and explained where to go and what to see around. He also told where are the best restaurants near by.
The sea side it was only 25 min drive from the villa.Town called Torre del mar with beautiful beach and not overcrowded with the people what we love most. Antonio see you next year!!!
Lovely location in a friendly, welcoming small village. Some dogs barking at night as there is in other villages locally. We had breakast a few mornings which is really nice, can't fault it. Bed is so comfortable. Amazing views of the lake and mountains. We arrived late, 11pm and could collect the room keys with the key safe. Instructions at the door to whatsapp call for instructions. We had an amazing time and will no doubt stay here again.
