We had a fabulous 3 night stay. A peaceful mountain setting but a good base to explore the area. Rooms were very comfortable and we had all we needed. Rosa was the perfect host, friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and we had dinner on 2 nights which was home cooked food at its very best.

Clean and comfortable. Plenty of utensils supplied to cook our own food. Supermarkets within walking distance. Restaurants within walking distance. Private car park which has two levels (one not visible from the road). Railings all around so perfect for securing a motorcycle. I would stay again.

Posada Valle del Oso is a small, traditional inn located in the village of Lerones, south of Potes. It is a rural location - you can hear the cow bells each day. The view from our balcony was lovely.

Lovely large bedroom with so much light … bedding that smelt fresh and reminded me of home. Love the communal tea and coffee area and option to buy small selection of drinks which was welcomed after a long ride. Elena is a wonderful host and recommend some great visiting places and eateries… easy walk into Potes. Wonderful find … xx

The house has been really nicely renovated, with modern touches which compliment the old structure (15th century, apparently!). The result is a really cosy place to stay.
The house was spotless and well-equipped, ideal for a self-catering holiday, though there are plenty of decent places in town to eat for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
The location is ideal too - right in the centre of Potes. Views from the bedroom windows are great.
My son & his girlfriend confirm the bed was very comfortable. I can vouch that the the sofa bed (room for one large adult) made for an excellent night's sleep too.
Casa Fidela is on the edge of a tranquil village in beautiful mountains.
The hostess is lovely and very friendly, and she prepares delicious homemade food.
The greatest compliment I can pay is that we intend to come back one day so that we can stay longer and explore the surrounding countryside on foot.
