Really comfortable two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Met by Irene when we arrived who showed us around the apartment. Nice touches like packet of biscuits and chocolates. We found a carpark down by the tunnel and walked into the old town for the evening. Would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable although the paint was a little glary. Lovely outlook to the field of cows. No food but the host offered a small selection of items and did make us omelettes for breakfast. Take cash to pay for food and drinks at the bar.

The house is well decorated and perfectly maintained, the bathroom is comfortable and very modern, the bed mattresses are exceptionally comfortable.
The breakfast is very good, and the hotel has a private parking lot right in front of the restaurant terrasse which is also a cafe during the day. The hotel is 1 minute walk away from the pedestrian centre town of Ampuero with a very large offer of restaurants with terrasses.
Hospedaje La Tortuga is set in Santoña, only 45 km from Santander. Every room has a flat-screen TV and some include a seating area. The rooms have a private bathroom equipped with a bath or shower.

The location was excellent. Straight off the ferry. Was easy to find and right near all the shops. Staff very helpful and attentive. The bed was super comfortable. Great pillows. Excellent shower. Fresh air from the balcony doors and fan if needed.
The parador is an easy walk into the little village of Limpias. There is a easy walk along the broad walk & a couple of local cafes with good coffee & home made tortillas. The rooms were to parador standard & had a nice aspect overlooking the trees out to the mountains.
Great stop off for the ferry but glad we booked two nights. Limpias is a lovely village on an estuary. Nice walk following a trail to see the sites including historic buildings and a lovely church. A few bars and good supermarket. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the dinner/breakfasts were really good quality. Great swimming pool in the grounds. Would definitely stay again.
