Very peaceful and remote location in the middle of vineyards, away from the crowds of the resort towns (if that is what you're looking for.) Though you would need a car to go around, you are not very far from many attractions, a 20 minutes drive will get you to Famara Beach or Playa Honda etc. Maria was an excellent host, from the warm welcome you receive (including a bottle of their own vineyward!) to friendly and helpful responses you quickly receive whenever you need anything! Very clean and spacious house with anything you need, from all your cooking needs (including a full size oven!) to a washing machine etc. and very comfy beds too. The interior of the house is artistically designed and decorated so you do enjoy your stay inside, and you can take a nice quiet walk in their vineyard around you.

The hospitality was outstanding. On our arrival the roads towards Villa Vegueta were blocked due to the Dolores march (a multi-day huge local festival), but Miguel offered to meet us and managed to drive our car to the house anyway thanks to his local street smarts. Because most shops and restaurants were closed on our arrival day, Maria Carmen left us some toast, marmalade and fruits which ensured our survival. During the rest of our stay, any problem was swiftly addressed by Jesus or Miguel (both are some of the friendliest hosts we've had the pleasure of meeting). Concerning the house itself, it's a dream. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, the entire house is spacious with a wonderful veranda and backyard. The neighborhood is quiet with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the king size double bed and the large italian-style shower. Everything was nicely decorated with a personal touch, the furniture is very high-quality.
