The hotel is charming and decorated with a lot of good taste. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, catering to your needs as best they can. The surrounding area is stunning. We'd had a phone call from our host with instructions for getting in but someone was there to greet us, which was nice. This is a row of two storey apartments (they reminded me of little cottages) with bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a big main sitting-dining-kitchen area downstairs. It was well equipped, with toaster and coffee machine also! We parked right outside the front door, where also there were two chairs and a table and there was a Taverna 20 yds away. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday when it's closed, but next morning we had white coffee and two mini muffins each for 1 euro 40 - a good deal.

Hospedaje Granada is located 600 metres from Merón Beach, in the countryside just outside San Vicente de la Barquera. It has a spacious garden with sofas, loungers and dining tables.

We absolutely loved it there. The house and rooms are beautiful just as the location close to the beach. The breakfast is small but rates good and is absolutely enough for a nice start into the day :) Would always stay again !
