This place is so heart-warmingly cute with the beautifully renovated rural house, farm surrounding and all the animals at the yard. The most exceptional thing is the breakfast - It’s so good with all the local product, selfmade cakes and jams and the eggs from their own chicken. Rooms are also clean and bed was comfortable. I hope I have the opportunity to visit again!

The property is exceptionally gorgeous. Picture-perfect. We were upgraded to a bigger room that was super comfortable. The bed and pillows, shower - everything was great! The pool and the garden is just superb.

Juan was such an accommodating host and was so helpful including setting up extra beds for our large family! The villa was beautiful with rustic features yet with modern aspects too. Spacious and very well maintained throughout our stay. We were sent links to days out, lots of advice and taught us history and gave us local information.
The area is quite remote which we loved for our family. Very accommodating for all ages with activities in the villa, plenty to do!

Super restaurant, Can Bosch, just upstairs/round the corner - they had the keys (and a large car park) and were super helpful. The surrealist painter Salvador Dalí had a house/castle for his wife in the village (1 minute from the apartment) and it is now a museum and well worth looking round.
The restaurant 'Es Carxofa' in the tiny village square is excellent but I recommend booking as many people were turned away.
A lovely jewel of a renovation of a cave in a tiny village of La Pera. The owner has managed to include everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Very tastefully thought out & well equipped. Situated in the church square there are no cars allowed but parking is a short walk away & you can drive in to unload your bags. A small tienda is close by for fresh bread & produce. Josep the owner is quick to answer any questions & easy to deal with.
We loved our short stay! Super friendly family who owns the lovely old house with nice garden and surroundings. We were offered recommendations of the region which we gladly took. It was beautiful to go to the closeby medieval villages!
There's an option to have dinner with regional specialties. The breakfast was good, too.
A lovely house, perfect to spend a couple of days with your partner. The location is great if you want to explore the small villages, which are very characteristic of Ampurdán. We will come back, without any doubt.
