A beautiful hilltop cortijo with incredible views for miles across olive groves and a lovely swimming pool (which was crucial in baking hot August days).
We loved the sense of tranquility - you barely hear a noise, apart from the odd cockerel crowing from from the valley. We also loved the sense of space, both in the cortijo and grounds itself and the surrounding countryside.
There’s a lovely large terrace, too, in front of all the apartments, where we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners.

Everything. From the moment we arrived I was in love with the property. Everything was just perfect. Every detail was thought of so carefully and very tastefully done. It was hands down one of the most beautiful places I ever stayed and I have travelled lots. Anything you needed, it was there. The owners were wonderful and very friendly too.

This is a large family home located near the highest point in the village, next to the picturesque church & castle offering excellent views. The property is very big and well equipped. It has all you would need in the kitchen plus a pantry that includes the basic foodstuffs from previous occupants (salt, pepper,oil, tea, coffee, etc). There are 2 supermarkets in the village as well as a bakery, butchers & fruit/veg shop, all within easy walking distance.
The patio is a wonderful space where you could eat (easy access to kitchen) or sit in or out of the sun. The inflatable pool at the end of the patio was perfect - it was very hot when we visited, often around 40C, so the pool was much appreciated.
The house is very comfortable and Isa obviously takes great care over the property, leaving flowers and fresh fruit upon your arrival, as well as a very nice olive oil from the local co-op.
Isa is the perfect host, very kind and exceptionally helpful, ringing around to find details for any inquiries we had and even volunteering to come with us to act as translator. She obviously takes great pride in her family home and village and this shows and was much appreciated by us.

The Townhouse is situated in a quaint little town, perfect for exploring. The hosts were always available when needed. We had nearly everything we needed for our stay. Great stop to get the washing done 👍 and to visit places near by. Thank you!

Well situated, clean and would have been comfortable apartment, were it not for the drilling, sledgehammering and total reform of the apartment underneath from 7am. Gave me a constant headache waking up to that.
The villa is gorgeous, the photos didn’t do it justice! We spent virtually all our time outside and there are so many little areas (all with amazing views) so you can choice between sun and shade though out the day.
Due to its remote location, the honesty bar was a god send. Everything was very reasonably priced and kept us going with extra food and drink.
Sally and Steve were perfect hosts, very discreet but on hand to check everything was okay.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer and definitely would return!
I did enjoy every minute of our stay. The villa has everything you would need for a holiday! I would recommend to contact the host first so they could advise with the best road to villa, and do grocery shopping to do prior to arrival, Sally & Steve they are such a lovely people, so welcoming, I could not recommend this place more. Just 10/10. Thank you again ♥️
very private, nicely decorated and stocked. The hosts are great! I also like that they stock some foods there because it is a remote location. But that is also why we chose this beautiful Villa.
