Although the apartment was in a house right by the road, sound-proofing (and heat-proofing) was assured by the triple glazing. The view from the main window was superb (across the Baztan valley to Gorramendi), with Lammergeier and other birds of prey circling, horses and cows providing extra entertainment closer to us! The bed and sofa were very comfortable, furniture and equipment good. The cake given as a 'welcome' (thank you!) was tasty and lasted us the whole time there! It was rather wet during the week we were there, but we found walks each day. Towns and villages nearby (Elizondo, Arizkun, Amaiur etc) are authentic (i.e. not distorted by tourism) and interesting. The apartment owners were friendly and helpful. It was a great week.

Set in Ergoyen, 9.4 km from Pasaiako portua and 13 km from FICOBA, Fagoaga dorretxea offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.
Such a charming village in the hills with a strong community feel. Super comfortable spacious apartment. We had a great time. Would recommend Escape Room and smuggler night walk!
Location is amazing, you need a car but you ll have a parking spot and you'll ve close to small villages and walks, 20 min drive from Irun.
Breakfast is rich.
There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, one is also a cafeteria. I had dinner there. Food is fresh and tasty. they were kind from the moment I arrived till the moment I left.
The property is a beautifully designed house just outside an idyllic village. Jordon was a very helpful host - despite the language barrier- and supplied a very good breakfast. Have absolutely no negatives at all.
