A wonderful, clean and well equipped apartment. An amazing building with a fascinating history. The hostess was so friendly, helpful and informative. She even got a basketball for my son who spent shooting hoops time in the court behind the building. Ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside and the Rias Altas coastline. The view is great! Ask for the unit at the front. The unit at the back doesn’t have the view. You’re free to walk around to look at it, if the people renting the other side of the house don’t mind. Pension Baja Mar is a lovely, well-situated place to stay & the staff are very nice! The view of the estuary & local shell-fishers was a nice treat at breakfast. Larido, adjacent to Espasante, is a perfect central location to visit the many sights & beaches in the area. Ferrol, Cedeira & Valdoviño, Cabo Ortegal, Cariño, to the west and O Picon, Estaca de Bares, O Barqueiro, Praia San Roman, to Viveiro are all easy and quick destinations.
