The location was fantastic with a great view from the main window. Parking on-site was a bonus. The owner met us onsite so we had the opportunity to be shown at first hand all the facilities.

I liked everything, the place was so tranquil, clean, and spacious
The facilities were excellent; free washing machine, a pay-to-use dryer, a well-equipped kitchen, and large clean bathrooms.
There is a small grocery store in the village and the local taberna served a 3-course meal with wine for €13.
I would recommend that you stop here and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and peaceful location.
The lady who runs the Albergue is kind and friendly. A perfect stop over.

Absolutely perfectly excellent stay in truly charming Castro Urdiales. Beautiful house-villa, comfortable appartement, delicate and friendly host playing piano and making delicious cake for simple but nice breakfast. Highly recommend!
I’m really conflicted about Villa Floren - location and staff are fantastic, and it is great value for money. Jose was very helpful and we loved his piano playing. You couldn’t ask for a better spot as a base to explore this wonderful town.
This is a public albuerge, primarily for pulgrims walking Camino de Santiago. The staff was attentive, free laundry, towel for rent, they sell cold drinks. It is right in the center of the village next to the church and three bars and a tiny store. The breakfast (for a few euros) was adequate. Satisfied.
