The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, with so much locally grown produce each day. The location is so peaceful and the views are incredible. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A fabulous and peaceful spot. The accommodation had everything we needed. The sunsets were stunning. There were restaurants and bars a few minutes walk away.

The location is exceptional, a calm mountain cottage, with the owner's home nearby and the sound of water everywhere on the property, sooo relaxing and perfectly maintained. The hosts Lina and Paco are very friendly and helpful, providing vegetables from their garden and collecting my shopping from the supermarket in town, giving us lifts into town and collecting us with our bags on the first and last day of our stay. The metal bird sculptures are wonderful, peeking out from everywhere on the property and the town is amazing.....thanks so much we had a very relaxing break

The decor and comfort of the accommodation was exceptional, beautifully done. Beds were extremely comfortable and beautifully made. Lots of items in case needed in bathrooms, and kitchen - the bliss of a sharp bread knife!!! Home made jams and fresh figs left for us on arrival were really lovely. Hosts were lovely from the moment we met them, very informative, available if we needed anything, and also then left us to relax and chill in the property, even though their own house adjoined the accommodation, we had our own space.
Surroundings were just lovely, about a five minute walk down to the village, which was just a lovely size - small and quiet, but enough bars and restaurants and wee shops, and a small craft market on the Saturday we were there, with local craftspeople. Just a beautiful spot. Great views and access to a good variety of walking to suit all levels.
Swimming pool was outside our door, and really lovely.

Stunning view from the terrace: apartment was spotless and well equipped. Communication went smoothly and well. The little village is charming and a good start to explore the surrounding.
The apartment is on three levels in the centre of Cáñar. It is very spacious and clean and has stunning views over the village and the valley. We appreciated the fact that the village is less touristic than many others in the Alpujarra.
