This hostel is worthy of a 3 star hotel. Exceptional facilities, even to the point that it supplies shaving kit, toothbrush and a comb which is superior to other higher rated hotels. The evening meal was very good and the prices very reasonable. I recommend.

The place is very good and comfortable. 8 stars instead of 10 is just because the cleaning staff needs to learn not to shout to each other in the corridors waking guests up and disturbing rest
Offering a charming garden and a covered terrace with traditional brickwork arches, La Casa del Azafrán is located in Villanueva del Rebollar de la Sierra, in the foothills of the Cucalón Mountains.

Everything. We have been 4 times to this property. We love the peace and quiet. The house is very cosy the ideal place to just chill and relax away from it all.
Excellent hotel to stay on our way home from Spain. The owner was very welcoming on our arrival and spoke fluent English. The hotel lies approximately five minutes off the A23 road in the quaint village of Navarrete and provided bed and breakfast. There is also a bar within two minutes walk of the hotel where you were made welcome.
The premises are located in a historic house in a small village easily reached by the A23. We only stayed overnight as a journey break but would like to return for a longer stay as it's not often you can stay in a place like this, full of character and family run.
Beautiful old world hotel. Good size bedroom and bathroom. Beautiful classic decor. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful little village and excellent tapas bar across the road for food and drinks. Great value for money. Breakfast was very good with a good variety of bread and pastries etc. Very accommodating of our pet. The outside seating area is really lovely too.
Location good. Rooms large and clean. Lovely bathroom. Beautiful, interesting, historic building in a very small village. Stunning views. Friendly owner. Parking good. Would stay here again.
The ambience of the hotel and village. It is in a lovely traditional setting. The owner(s) were very pleasant and more than helpful when required. We would stay again
