It had been a long time since I felt at home. Whenever I stay in accommodations, I feel like I'm in a "commercial" place. This guesthouse smells like "home", everything is very well looked after, clean and organized. There is no smell of generic chemical products used in cleaning, instead there is a clean house smell. Wonderful view of Picos de Europa, a beautiful house, vey clean. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. The village is really peaceful and quiet and there are nice walks. You can anything you need in the nearby town of Arenas de Cabrales down in the valley. A baker comes to the village every morning with basics like bread and eggs.
