Its obviously good for kids, which wasn't what we were after but it also welcomed dogs with woodland walks on the doorstep. The local village La Iglesia is very spanish and well worth a visit as is the town of Comillas, which is on the coast.

The hotel is charming and decorated with a lot of good taste. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, catering to your needs as best they can. The surrounding area is stunning. Great location, charming village well suitated for excursions and beach visits. Loved the pool, well maintained. Beautiful inland mountain view from the balcony. Great facilities.
