We came to stay at the Aparthotel Cal Marcal as we had a friends wedding in the area. The property was very clean with a nice pool and was a comfortable walk into town. The staff were so kind, helpful and attentive. It’s a small local hotel and had a lovely restaurant attached - it feels very welcoming. There’s a couple of great restaurants in town also and Puig Reig is a perfect area for wildlife walks and a proper hiking holiday…Even more reason to visit and stay at this very nice hotel!

Great spacy place for family. The owner fully supported us within check in, it was a pleasure to find a bottle of wine for late evening. Fully equipped kithen, we were able to prepare breakfast.

Anna and Albert were very attentive and went above and beyond staying up til 1 am to greet me on arrival. The breakfast was delicious and the room's are large and comfortable. The decor is exactly what you'd want in a small Spanish B&B.
The price.
The room and shared bathroom were clean and tidy, the bed was well made daily and room cleaned daily
The owner was friendly and allowed me to park my motorcycle in his garage.
Under the hotel is a small café which is open for breakfast, evening meals I took in the village at a very friendly place on the main road that gave ample portions at a very good price.
The hotel is at the end of the town close to a petrol station but its only a short walk in to the village where there is a well stocked supermarket.
