For a reasonable fee we were picked up promptly from airport by Alex a friend of the owner. We were met at the apartment by Yuri and explained everything about Wi-Fi etc. Welcome gift of wine, water and cookies was a lovely gesture. View from balcony was amazing, the apartment is very spacious. Free bus number three outside apartment takes you to Patacona beach where you can pick up bus 32 into València centre. Very large supermarket 15 mins walk. Port Saplaya is beautiful some great restaurants looking onto the marina

Saplaya Harbour is a good location if the beach is as important to you as Valencia itself. The harbour is it's own mini-village, made up of retirees, second home owners and holiday rentals. It had a sleepy vibe in October. As we had kids, we wanted the beach and the ability to be able to go into Valencia a few times without staying there. (The bus from the harbour takes 25 mins to get in). This property has a great balcony and is traffic free, so the kids to run around and go to the beach unsupervised.

It is a simple, nice, and very budget-friendly option (twice cheaper than the rest of the city at times I booked!) - still a private room and shower (just a door away) located inside the large and nice 3-floor house. The budget price allowed me to travel around and book a few days in hotels outside Valencia without hesitation or exceeding my budget. The room is small, with a one-person bed and a little table. Definitely not an option for couples but perfect for one frugal person's trip! The apartment has Wi-Fi as well. There is a nice leisure area and a pool a bit further, in the same apartment block. Machado Metro station is just 2 minutes away. Victoria is a great host and has provided a lot of information and guidance.
