The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

The location was very clean and very organised,the owner was very welcoming and she surprised me with a free breakfast that she handmade herself, The owner was also soo nice and sweet,she was always asking if I needed something or if their was anything missing in the room,I was feeling like I was sitting in my own house.this has been one of the best and memorable experiences I have in a guest house everything was amazing and perfect.

This stay is exactly what I hoped for! A comfortable and clean accommodation that allowed us to be part of the neighborhood during our stay! The rooms are perfectly clean, the beds are comfortable and have sheets, which I have missed in other stays in Egypt. The AC works amazingly, and we were able to get a little bit of wash done, which was sorely needed for our group of 5. Breakfast comes with an amazing view of the nile surrounded by camels. Then there is Habib, he is an honest and kind homeowner who instantly helps you feel at home. He helped us to arrange everything we needed from boat tours to dinner. He was always available to answer questions and has the most lovely family taking care of anything you could need. We are also in love with this little neighborhood on the west bank. Nightly football games with the kids around the area, sharing cultures, and playing together made this a truly remarkable stay for my children and brought such joy to us all. The neighbors sat with us in the evening to chat and get to know eachother and Aswan will hold a special place for us forever. The public ferry is a quick walk down just a few blocks and cost only 10 pounds and every time we got off the ferry, everyone was so kind when we replied that we were at Habibs house. They all clearly love and respect him. Lastly, our transportation to the airport canceled and i was very nervous we wouldn't find a ride and our flight was quick approaching Habib found us a van right away at a great price with one of his many fantastic friends. THANK YOU HABIB FOR A GREAT STAY!

The place itself is gorgeous, very clean, and complete with scenic views of the Nile. I woke up to a breakfast on a shaded balcony beholding green Nile farmland and delicate feleucas cruising the waterways. Our room itself was spacious, decorated with a cedar wardrobe and chest, and possessed AC. The bathroom was huge and contained a bathtub with jets. Moreover, every person on staff was exceedingly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We found them to be trustworthy and genuinely kind. This is my husband's second time staying here, since he liked it so much; we hope to come again in the future!

Our stay at in Aswan at Aragheed House was a true highlight of our month long stay in Egypt. We originally booked for 2 nights but extended to 5 nights due to the wonderful hospitality we received. We spent several hours on the chilled rooftop, chatting with Bassam and his friends/family and other travelers. Bassam is extremely proud of his Nubian heritage and we enjoyed learning about the culture. We highly recommend sharing the dinner at the guest house - it was outstanding and a truly social and communal event. We enjoyed our sand boarding activity and the guest house is only minutes from the public ferry across to the East bank and from the Noble Tombs, which are well worth a visit.
