Lovely pension by the water, managed by a great team - very helpful from booking time to check out. The room is simple but comfy, with a beautiful view on the lake. The breakfast is more than decent, and healthy-ish options are available. Bonus point for the decaf coffee. The pension's restaurant is excellent. You get a huge choice of fresh fish dishes that were all perfectly cooked. There are plenty of nice walks and bike rides around, but think about bringing a card game or two in case the weather gets bad. There's not much to do around if that's the case.

It was refreshing to get connected to nature and get relaxed from the stress of living in Berlin. The night sky was amazing and we were lucky to see the milky way, as it wasn't cloudy. The facilities were nice too. The house itself has a lot of kitchenware and probably everything you might need for cooking. We enjoyed playing ping-pong, cooking meat on the grill and walking through the forest. There's a small swimming lake nearby and a larger lake where you can ride a boat from the facility for free. We stayed for 2 nights during the new moon and the night sky was the brightest we've ever seen 🌌
