Lovely room with a balcony with a superb view over the village and the Bavarian alps. Location ideal, in a very quiet spot just outside the village, but with only a short walk into the village for restaurants, etc. Only a short drive to Hohenschwangau for King Ludwig's castles, but away from the hoards of tourists. Wies church nearby. Excellent breakfast. Marcus and his partner were the perfect hosts.
Nice family hotel. Amazing breakfast, super friendly staff, nice facilities for kids, board games. Endless feeling that you visited your parents in holiday house!
The hotel is a very good two-star hotel. We had a large room with a window on the street. No view on the country side or balcony unfortunately. The bathroom was tiny. We preferred using our soap and shampoo. The towels were cleaned but a bit old. Breakfast was excellent (8,5 euros!). The hotel is located 11km from the castles which is not too far. We could easily park in the street. It is a village. There are some very good restaurants in Schwangau, 6km from the hotel. The lady who owns the hotel was not very pleasant but her son was.
The house is on the main road, it is easy to reach Schwangau to visit the castles and wonderful town Füssen is also nearby. While the price is high compared with the modern and new hotels in the cities, apparently it is moderate for the location of Foggersee. The room was standard in style and size for alpine/village family run establishments. The breakfast was good. The young man who serves as receptionist and waiter was very pleasant and does his best to be very helpful. The communication in English/German is limited.

This accommodation is tucked away on the outskirts of the village. It has a really great view of the nearby mountains. The outdoor patio is a good place to spend some leisure time or have a good breakfast.
Lovely, homely hotel in a quiet village with good views of the mountains. Good-size room and hearty breakfast, also a useful room to get beers and other drinks on an honesty basis. Sufficient parking.
I like friendly owners and staffs of the hotel doing their best for us - guests. The room in which we stayed was spacious and clean. I requested to stay in that room. I would definitely recommend that hotel to tourists and visitors having a car since it's located in a small village near the Castle Neuschwanstein and other attractions of the region. We will also stay in the hotel if we spend a holiday in the area.
