Frank and Eike are lovely, and we couldn't have been happier with the interaction and engagement right from the moment of booking Pusteblume. Comms were great from the get-go and although they shared detailed information about self-check-in, Frank was there to greet us upon arrival, which was special. The property is located in a rustic farming area, far away from the noise, but close enough to a biggish town (Fürstenwalde - which has a Lidl) where one can buy all provisions, get fuel and ice - all you'll need for a lovely stay. The bonus, for us upon engaging with other guests, was that it's a quick hop to Poland (around 40km to Slubice) to visit the Polish market and take in a few sights. What an unexpected treat! We stayed in the spacious apartment on the ground floor, with on-site parking. Basic, but superbly well-equipped kitchen. We noticed the little 'goodies' one could need for small children, too. Peaceful area and an absolutely wonderful stay! If you like something off the beaten path yet close enough to civilization, this one's for you.

Things I liked: Great hostess, it's basically a house in which a lovely lady lives in a part of the house down stairs separate from the guest quarters but always available for assistance and the first floor 3 rooms and a kitchen with a electric stove, freezer, sink, tables, basically everything you need if you choose not to eat out and cook yourself a meal or chill some cheap beer from the store nearby. Room was comfortable with a big bed, 2 sets of blankets, towels, a tv, closet, controllable heaters, 2 windows, very quiet, very clean, nice bathroom with a shower cabin. Price was great for some conditions i didn't even have in a 4 star hotel. I highly reccomend a stay here if you are in the area. The place is basically 3 train stations away from the center of berlin, meaning a 30 min train trip. The house also has a nice backyard and a place to sit at a table and throw a few cold ones and I bet if you ask nicely, the lady there might even hook you up with a barbecue.
