As soon as we arrived at the property, Xiang greeted us and helped us with our luggage. He doesn’t speak any English and we don’t speak any Mandarin, but that was no problem for Xiang as he has a great system. The first thing he does is sit you down in the reception area, adds you WeChat and voice dictates messages to you through the app, which he then shows you how to enable automatic translations for, so it’s as though you’re having an everyday conversation. Brilliant! This was super handy to have set up for the rest of the time we were there too.
He then took the time show us a huge map of the city and point out all the best things for tourists to see, as well as recommendations for good restaurants. He was so attentive the whole time we were there and was always very kind. He also gave us fresh bananas and other fruit every day!
The room was great! We had a balcony with a view of the river, which was stunning! The room was clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning and a clean private bathroom. Everything here was great! We loved our stay! Thank you Xiang!

Great location to explore the old town and yet not in a crowded area. Also conveniently located a 3min walk from the bus stop connecting to the train station. The hosts were incredibly helpful with helping organizing our activities and English speakers.

The location is nice although not of hotels with similarly good locations and views and not on top of a very loud bars (although it closes at 11:30pm). The staff were very helpful arranging pick up and drop off to the train station etc.

The location is great and the owners are lovely, the helped us with everything, so kind and friendly.
Breakfast wasn't included, however, the owner suggested an excellent place to have local dumplings with soy milk or porridge.
The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. He picked us up at the taxi and took all our luggage to the hotel. He did the same when we left.
He gave handy tips not only about the touristic village but also about food.
The location was convenient, only 2 mins walk to the river bank, the staff were super kind and very well prepared, Veronica spoke very good English. She recommended a night show and day trip to Dehang village, which made my trip in Fenghuang so impressive. Thank you :)
It's located in a quiet street in the centre of Fenghuang old city. We walked everywhere during our stay, and you don't get lost. Great hot shower and clean room. The owner spoke very good English, she also helped us with the tour to a Miao village.
