Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We have enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the trains after we returned in the evening. Rebecca was the perfect host, and she has provided everything we need during our stay. The location is great especially if you want to take a cable car up to Männlichen, because the station is just next to your door. It's a few hundred meters from the train station. Mandi (host) is very helpful. The view from the balcony is amazing. The room is fully equipped for cooking, but, unfortunately, we don't cook (haha). The hot water works as it should be. We need it especially when it's 1-6c when we arrive. If you're an avid runner, try running Lauterbrunnen and come back. It's another nice village that you will love it.

Great location. Fantastic view from the balcony. Renovated and fully equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms. After we reported a damage in the bathroom, the host came really quickly and gave us an extra apartment to stay and use until checkout. Even after the damage was repaired.

A beautiful apartment in a good location with a great view of the Jungfrau. It was clean and well equipped. The outside space was great as we had children with us. Underground car parking and a laundry room were a bonus. Owners were a pleasure to deal with. There were even toiletries which we wouldn't expect in an apartment.

We had an outstanding experience at Hotel Berghaus. The proprietor, Martina, exhibited exceptional hospitality and provided invaluable insights for exploring the area, including weather conditions, selecting hiking trails, and engaging in various activities. She graciously shared information about local village life and offered recommendations for restaurants. Additionally, the hotel offered an excellent breakfast.
Our rooms were upgraded. The location was excellant next the train station with views of the mountains and in the centre of the village. The hotel has excellant facilities including swiming pool and sauna as part of the package, good breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
The breakfast offered a delicious variety of fresh fruit , yoghurt, bread, cheeses and cooked eggs, sausage , tomatoes and salad plus more .
The location was 5 mins from the train station and village restaurants and shops .
The rooms were large , cosy and warm with a lovely balcony with great views of the mountains .
The view. Cleanness of the hotel. Comfortable bed and mattress. The classic design style. Staff very nice, helpful and welcoming. Restaurant at the hotel is really good. In the heart of the village and 2 minutes walk from train station.
The location is amazing. A lot of the shops and restaurants were closed but the actual village was beautiful. We visited the Italian restaurant Da Sina twice it was so good!
