My tourist guide mentioned Cowichan means "warm country" which our host from the booking showed us with some great tips (e.g. whalewatching tour) and even offering to do groceries for us :-)! The house is very spacious, same as the terrace which on top has a fabulous view!

Beautiful estate in the hills of Chemainus with a spectacular view over the bay. Very nicely decorated interior. Room was spacious and complete. We had to leave early for the ferry but the owners left delicious scones for us. Great hospitality!

I loved Sue's cottage. I needed a weekend away from the city and this was the perfect location. The cottage itself is very comfortable and everything you need to cook. The bed is super comfortable and I love that I could sit outside next to the fire and watch the wildlife in the ocean. As a bonus, the cabin is close to the Cowichan Valley Trail so I easily biked to Chemainus and Lady Smith. I will definitely stay here again!
