My tourist guide mentioned Cowichan means "warm country" which our host from the booking showed us with some great tips (e.g. whalewatching tour) and even offering to do groceries for us :-)! The house is very spacious, same as the terrace which on top has a fabulous view!

Anthea was one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. She made us feel so welcome and it was like home from home. The property is super clean and the bed was very very comfortable. I loved Sue's cottage. I needed a weekend away from the city and this was the perfect location. The cottage itself is very comfortable and everything you need to cook. The bed is super comfortable and I love that I could sit outside next to the fire and watch the wildlife in the ocean. As a bonus, the cabin is close to the Cowichan Valley Trail so I easily biked to Chemainus and Lady Smith. I will definitely stay here again!
