Have you ever the host worrying about your safety and checking on you progress constantly? I never had it and that's what Johanna did in our recent stay. She was worried about the wild fire for us and even shared her number. It touched me a lot. It's also awesome to be greeted by her friendly smiling face after a long ride. I also liked it that she checked on you before checking you in then she shared wine and cheese to welcome us. Then it was even better when Randy made the wine. The bedroom and bathroom is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. I just wished that I had stayed another day. Finally, Randy was there to chat up with us as we prepared to leave at 7am. Heart warming to have someone sending you off as we set for a 5.5hrs drive. Also it set all of us in better mood. Cheers to Johanna n Randy.

Shuswap Lake Estates Golf Course is 12 minutes’ drive from Jewel Bay Resort. A private beach area is featured at this Sorrento resort. Lake views are offered from each furnished bungalow.
Kitchen facilities are offered in all very rustic bungalows at Jewel Bay Resort Sorrento. A balcony with outdoor seating area is provided. A private bathroom is included.

We were very happy with the location on Shuswap Lake and the private beach access. The cabin was very delightful. Loved the big deck and the clean interior. The new full size fridge was a treat and the beds were comfortable.

What we liked: + By far the best welcome we received on our trip + Beautiful, well-equipped room with very comfortable bedding and a large bay window + The common areas in the main residence were spacious and perfectly equipped + Enjoyable jacuzzi in the middle of the property + Excellent dinner at Finz Bar and Grill, with a stunning sunset view over the lake + Possibility to spend the evening around a campfire on the property (though we didn’t do this)
