We were very unlucky with the weather: it was almost 40 degrees and because of the heat the pool was full with wasps looking for refreshment. But of course the host can not do much about that and we can imagine that in normal circumstances this house is just perfect: scenic location, a lot of facilities etc. Maybe we have to come back to enjoy everything properly ;-)

It was our first visit of this spa and we will come again by our next trip to Eastern Greece.
Excellent location, small traditional mountain village with vineyards tradition, unique landscape. Good local food in nearby restaurants. The area is like Tuscany, without the hype. Local red wines are of high quality, try any of them with trust. The people at the property are very kind and helpful, but they hardly understand English. Some basic Slav language skills are required.
The room was really beautiful and comfortable. Another set of pillows and blankets are at your disposal if needed. The host started the AC for us so we wouldn't be too warm. The bathroom was big and clean. Melnik is a really small village so even if you are not at its center, you can get everywhere in 5 minutes!
I had a great stay! Margarita was super friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious. The room was perfectly clean.
The Hotel is located at the end of Melnik Village. Everything is located in walking distance.

The owner and the staff were wonderful. We got a very large beautiful rooms well decorated and very comfortable with a nice view over the village and the nature around. The restaurant of the hotel was also very very good at both dinner and breakfast and for a very decent price. I highly recommend the place!
The hotel or maybe better said boarding house is in a typical Bulgarian house in the upper part of Melnik. Very nicely and originally designed, cosy. The rrom was equipped with the neccessary stuff and had a nice view on the village. Very friendly staff resp. owner. Excellent WiFi. The breakfast was served as a choice of different dishes and was freshly prepared.
I liked the location of the hotel, but I did not like much the village as a leisure destination. Over estimated compared to other destinations in Bulgaria not to mention Greece. Just got there from Bansko. The hotel suite I booked was clean and comfortable but not ergonomic. We did not have a water boiler which is handy in such weather conditions. Only Bulgarian cable tv which was useless to us. Spa facilities of the hotel were very good and clean.
Old house refurbished with style, with a very good view of the quaint little village of Melnik. The host was friendly and the room itself was nice. We especially like the breakfast (the pancakes reminded me of my grandmother's)...
