In a beautiful old, completely renovated mansion, nicely decorated, very friendly host. The four guest rooms are directly under the roof, you need to take the stairs to get there. The well working and silent A/C kept us comfortable during the night. A bar from the roof partially obstructed the way from the bed to the bathroom: mind your head ;) Breakfast was available at 15€ each, offering plenty of choices, like fresh fruit salad, eggs prepared to your choice, ham, cheese, fresh Belgian "pistolet" buns, croissants and pastries in addition to cereals, milk. yogurt. All of good or better quality. Ample parking facility on the property.
Gavere (Near Vurste)
Located 15 km from Sint-Pietersstation Gent, Rooms & Loft De Post offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a bar. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air.

All the people were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was big, clean and comfortably furnished. Also the restaurant downstairs is very nice. We will come back again.

Amazing property, clean, spacious, quiet, very comfortable. It doesn't happen very often, but it was better in reality than in the pictures on Booking. Lovely hosts, cute welcome package (Chocolates and Wine), amazing garden and all amenities you could wish for. We were very sorry to leave, we wished we could have stayed longer. Walks at sunset in the surrounding area were a great bonus.

Brilliantly-equipped house with absolutely everything you could need. The log burner was lovely in the evenings, beds super-comfortable, kitchen excellent and bathroom luxurious. We loved waking up to the gorgeous view of the lake and it was a very peaceful area out of the city. Lidl and Aldi a stone's throw away. Arthur was a very responsive host who made our arrival smooth and easy. Highly recommended 😀

Hosts are great. Breakfast was great, great food. Location is great. Amenities are great. The price is a bit high, but it is during the highest peak of the season in this region, during the Tour of Flanders, De Ronde van Vlaanderen, a cycling event. So that might explain why.
