The actual building was beautiful, castle design, and set between a lake and a lovely forest. Very quiet and tranquil. The 0.7 mile driveway to the accommodation was enchanting, rabbits hopping about, birds singing and a young deer watching from the trees. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean (as was the entire building) and equipped well for a few days self catering. There was a lovely restaurant and bar on site with a beautiful patio area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beer was very reasonably priced and the coffee was top quality and presented exquisitely. Location is an easy 15 minute drive to the centre of Brugge. Great place for forest walks.

This property was unique and we loved the novelty of staying in a Windmill. It was perfect for both of us and our teenage son. It was close to cycle paths and 10 minutes away from the centre of Bruges.

The host is one of the friendliest I have ever met. The communication was fast, easy and smooth. He was flexible with check in time and also spent considerable time to explain anything about Bruges and the places we intended to visit. The provided space was super clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities were provided. We appreciated the orange juice and coffee in the morning! I would chose it again.
