Very nice communication and very nice welcoming moments from the owner. The place is an absolute jem in a remote and quiet place. I really liked the private bathrooms in each room and the fire place in the living room.

The property was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were perfect. my elderly father appreciated there were no stairs to the bedroom, only two stairs into the home. located only 17 minutes drive to Bastogne, convenient to us. Breakfast was great! fresh bread, jams, cheeses and spreads and Agnes had hard boiled eggs one day and cooked us eggs the second day. Perfect.

The cottage was great. It had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The hosts were wonderful, very quick communications, easy to talk to and very helpful for sights in the local area. Perfect base for either activities in the local area or further afield in Luxembourg. Would stay again.

Le Scailleteux is a beautifully renovated property, with very creative use of some of the old and attractive features. Caroline gave us a very warm welcome, and recommended many of the local attractions. The property is very comfortable and well equipped, and we appreciated the underfloor heating in the main kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed the old game of riboulette! We thoroughly recommend a visit to the Bastogne War Museum, one of the most interesting and creative museums we have ever visited.
