When arriving we got invited into the house by the host (and a very sweet dog) and sat around the kitchen table where he explained everything to us. In the morning we joined the family at the kitchen table again for a chat, and a very luxurious breakfast with freshly baked eggs and bacon, fruits, yoghurt, buns, and even chocolate buns! :) The location is very calm and quiet but still close to the city centre where there is a variety of cozy bars and restaurants.

We liked everything of this place: the welcoming staff, the place, so cozy and warm, the excellent position, breakfast and the quality of its products. We’ve travelled and have been in many countries, hotels and BnBs in our lives and this is truly one of the most pleasant places we’ve been to. Can’t wait to go back! Nice Villa from the outside. The location was perfect for us, since we went to a festival only 15 min away. Our room was super clean and we had a great night and morning (we could check out at 12)
Spent a weekend at VillaLux to celebrate a birthday and it was lovely - free drink on the house, breakfast in bed each day and we got the room with the jacuzzi which was amazing. There is no door between the bedroom and the bathroom however there is another bathroom in the hallway shared with other guests so we did not find this a problem at all.
I have been 2 times there already and never got disappointed. The Host is amazing and very friendly. I would go there more often but it is somehow far.
Other than that everything is excellent from the welcoming to the checkout, including the stay.
I recommend VillaLux to everyone, and especially the room number 2 to all the couples ! :)
