Beautiful old farmhouse in a stunning setting of rolling hills, meadows and forest. Lovely to see all the horses in the stables, and that it is still a working farm. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious and clean. The breakfast was great, fresh bread from the baker, locally produced cheese, meat, and jams etc. Communication with the proprietor was great, and he was very helpful and accommodating with our requests. Fantastic attention to detail. Beautiful pool and garden. Plenty of space to relax. Jef's place has it all.
The forest nearby is great for walks. The pool is comfortable either by night with lights or in the day with the deck chairs (we were confused by the pictures and thought the deck chairs were part of a private space, but it's all the same pool area and open to guests). The light fixtures inside the house are gorgeous. We were incredibly well rested after our three day stay there.
Absolutely delightful. Very helpful staff and a superb location. Beautiful villages and great restaurants. Excellent if you have limited mobility which is a big plus for us.
