This apartment was a vary lucky find. I booked it late in the evening, only about an hour before arrival. The owner MIrza responded quickly, we were happy to find that the drive to Ivanica was short, border crossing took only a minute, and the house was basically just around the corner from the border.
Apartments EMA has 3 floors, with the owner's living quarters on the ground floor, and an ample parking space at the front of the house. It is located on a small street and easy to find if you follow the map.
The town is small and quiet, there is a small grocery shop and a cafe. Mirza recommended us a good and surprisingly popular restaurant in the nearby village of Drijen.
Our apartment was spacious and clean, with a good shower, A/C and kitchen in the living room. We liked the beds.
The owner was very helpful, correct, always available and swift in responding in WhatsApp.

The hostess was very friendly and was available to respond immediately to any questions I had. The view is spectacular and it is a quiet area perfect for relaxing. We traveled back and forth into Dubrovnik and the distance was close with no problems for us to cross the border.

Spent a night here, instead of Croatia on my way north by motorcycle. Very affordable accommodation comparing to Croatia and was happy with my choice. Got offered some home cooked coffee and enjoyed it watching the Bosnian mountains. Croatia is only a 5 minute drive away.

Really amazing little place. Super value for money, and a very friendly and accommodating host.
Our ferry to Dubrovnik was very delayed, and we arrived at Red Apartman at 1.15am. We had messaged the host in advance and they stayed up to meet us, which we were very grateful about as we were travelling with 3 children.
Clean, plenty of space, full kitchen facilities and comfortable beds. We unfortunately didn't have time to use the swimming pool, but it looked very inviting!
We'll definitely stay there again when we are next in the area! Thank you for your hospitality!

The villa was very spacious which is what you would expect for the cost. It was remote and quite at night. It was very clean on arrival. If you are looking for off the grid well this is for you. Although there is a villa directly above it but this was empty most of the time. The pool is large which is very good.
The house was nice and located with a beautiful view, large and clean house with many rooms. The host was nice easy to deal with. We had a wonderful stay in the villa.

The Villa was the perfect place to stay. The space was incredible and the pool and view were amazing. We felt so safe, it was spotlessly clean and we just had the best time. It was our 1st time staying in a villa and we're converted. Not having anyone around us was so relaxing. We visited Mostar, Blagej, Kravice Waterfalls, Kotor, Cavta & Dubrovnik. No issues with boarder crossings at all. Visited Lidl for groceries which was ideal.
Our family with four kids truly enjoyed the spacious and cozy villa with several balconies and bathrooms and the superb kitchen, well-functioning wi-fi and AC in great condition. The house was very clean and the surroundings have a friendly atmosphere. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time there since it is clearly big enough for that. There was also room for the car in a protected place in the shade.
Everything was perfect, couldn't ask for more. Very stylish, pool was cleaned almost every day, high quality sunbeds, big table outside for 8 people, ice machine for cold drinks. Air-conditioner in every room, outside grill. Perfect place to stay, shops nearby and a gas-station with a buffet/restaurant. Crossing the border to Croatia is easy! Lovely hosts and perfect villa!
The villa was extremely clean and the pool was fabulous. We had an ice maker which was invaluable as the weather was very hot. The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We visited two good and very reasonable restaurants nearby. We had fabulous views over the sea and mountains and it was so very peaceful and relaxing. 😊 And we were able to visit three countries in one trip! 😃
