Gmundnerberghaus is amazing! We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Well-run hotel in a quaint little lakeside village. The view from our room was breathtaking. Fine range of products for breakfast. Modernized facilities, comfy bed.
We had a very nice experience in the Post am See. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is renovated with very good taste and the breakfast is simply exceptional!
The room was comfy and the size was enough for spending a weekend there, even though the bed was way too soft for us.
Trankirchen is a charming small village next to Traunsee, so it was a delight to wake up in the morning with lake views.
The apartment is in a picturesque village and right beside the beautiful lake, which is perfect for swimming. It is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and immaculate, with a gym, sauna and bikes available. We hired the electric car, which was ideal for exploring the local area. Josef made us feel very welcome and helped ensure that we had a really relaxing stay in Traunkirchen. Hopefully we will be back there soon!
The scenery where you are staying is just stunning. Right at their warm home with all kinds of animals.

The location is a few km located from the Traunkirchen itself but hey, the village is only a parking place and a restaurant anyway.
Highly recommended if you want to have a good bed located in the heart of the Austrian nature.
