Everything was great from the moment we came. The building and the room are nice and cozy, clean and well equipped. The hotel is quite close to the railway station Obertraun, it takes just 10-15 minutes to walk. The road to the hotel is pleasant and flat. The hostess Anna is very hospitable and ready to help. I truly cannot recommend this wonderful apartment enough. I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere so comfortable away from home: everything from the bedroom to the balcony to the kitchen to the living room felt meticulously put together for guests to have the best experience possible. I am an avid reader and my favourite spot by far was that incredibly comfortable sofa. Even though we visited in summer I really felt like I was cozy in an alpine chalet! The hosts are absolutely lovely and always on hand to help. Anyone visiting the Hallstatt area should stay at Landhaus Osborne!

Good location..we had a car but if you needed a train or local bus they were close by.Could walk to small local supermarket. Nice restaurant in holiday complex with a 5 minute walk.
