Bath City Centre, Bath
Floating Cat Palace in the Heart of Bath is set in the Bath City Centre district of Bath, 700 metres from Bath Spa Train Station, 1.3 km from The Circus Bath and 1.6 km from Royal Crescent. Offering private parking, the boat is 500 metres from The Roman Baths. The property is 700 metres from Bath Abbey, and within 600 metres of the city centre. Such a lovely and comfortable place. Dunstan is so friendly and the boat is huge - you have lots of space to move around and the bedroom is very separate to the rest of the area. Beau, the cat, is very sweet and comes and goes as he likes. This stay was 10/10, Dunstan even took us out for a morning ride in his electric boat. Everything is so accommodating and I cannot fault at all. Thank you - I shall be back!

Our room was clean though quite basic. Mami provided timely advice on whether to take public transport or park in the city. The Boathouse worked out well for dinner - a lovely pub on the River Avon, a 10 mins walk away (note steep path that could get very muddy).
Charming and beautiful location. Very pleasant walk into town and the option to have a lift to town in the morning on a boat was a nice bonus. The covered balcony was peaceful and a really nice place to sit after a busy day in the town. Very clean and well decorated. Hosts were around but not intrusive at all. I would definitely book again.
Its position was peaceful and scenic. Lovely accommodation- just right for a couple. Great location for walking into centre. Only sorry wrong time of year to get river boat.
Such beautiful elegant but homely accommodation. Every comfort you could wish for. Fabulous top quality bedding. The kitchen had two ovens a separate grill and microwave, all built in with perfect hob and integrated deep fat fryer. Perfect for longer stays. The views from the windows amazing. You could see Bath Abbey, the park opposite and the river with houseboats.
My daughter and I had the most brilliant stay at the beautiful Boating Station. Lulu was the most charming host. So much so I think my little'un now wants to live by the river and be her first mate! To whoever moaned about the colour scheme, you really need to get a grip. It's a perfectly peaceful purple paradise. Comfy, cosy and within walking distance from the city centre and train station. And the two dogs are adorable and super friendly. We're already talking about staying there again. We can't thank you enough, Eloise xx
The Boathouse is set in a lovely location just outside Bath with countryside views but within easy walking distance to the city. The gentleman that greeted us and booked us in was very welcoming and had good attention to detail. The rooms nicely decorated and I loved the little extra touch of the paper short stories an excellent idea for a few nights stay. The staff at breakfast were equally as welcoming and there was a good choice of breakfast options. Will be coming back here on my next stay in Bath.
riverside location, self-catering accommodation was well equipped and a daily complementary motorboat trip into town if needed. Excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble.
The apartment was welcoming and well stocked with tea, coffee, jam, a pound of butter, sourdough bread, and ample toilet paper (we needed to restock in previous lodging). The staff at Robun restaurant was friendly and helpful. The guidebook app influenced two guests to rent an electric boat and motor on the canal.
The staff were friendly and our room was very good..Would definitely stay at the boathouse again
