Booking . com did not identify that the hotel was accessed by Ferry. It was a nice surprise to find out it was. My grandson was thrilled with the boat ride.
The front of the hotel looks out over Tadoussac and the view is lovely. Wood-panelled room with cottage vibe. Smallish shower in a perfectly functional bathroom. No coffee-maker in the room but there is a kitchenette with a coffee-maker and coffee pods for sale (2$). The walk into town is steep but not very long, however the way back seemed longer. We walked down to the whale-watching boat and were happy we did not have to find and pay for parking.
Beautiful lakefront cottage! Well stocked kitchen, linen and towels. Host was super helpful, providing us with a new high chair for our toddler, and giving access to their own pedalo boat for a turn on the lake.
The view was very nice, we even watched a huge cruise ship move down the river all lit up at night. We could walk to the pier where we took our boat ride. All very smooth!
Kayaks and motor boat on the lake . No mosquitoes. Very relaxing
The owner was very welcoming and knowlegdeable about the area. We could walk to the Baie St. Catherine AML whale watch boat facilities, and the ferry to Tadoussac was less than 10 minute drive away. The views were beautiful overlooking the St. Lawrence. Because of the limited restaurants in the area, we brought food to cook in our chalet. There were plenty of dishes and cookware to do any meal.
Close to Tadoussac center and far enough away from the main road to not hear the cars or boats.
