Andrea was very excited to host us. Our trains were delayed due to the floods and he offered to fetch us from the airport. It was quite an experience and my first time on a boat. My husband and I are regular campers and the experience could be equated to that. Possibly sleeping in a caravan with extra views. The marina was safe to sleep in. His boat house was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. He explained all processes and equipment that we would use well. Glad he warned us of the passing boats’ wake. We enjoyed our stay. It was I walking distance to a restaurant, bus stop and supermarket. We enjoyed breakfast before we got the bus at the caffe. The tickets for the airport bus was available for sale at the tabacco store.

Great location and beautiful boat. It is about 20 minutes from the airport. There are lots of walkable restaurants right on the harbour. Ivan was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even carrying one of our bags! Lovely breakfast. Great stay and would recommend.

Loved the unique quirkiness of staying a night on a boat in a super location. Paula and Marco were great hosts and we particularly appreciated Marco’s pasta cooking skills.

My partner and I decided to do things a little different on our 4th holiday destination being Rome by staying on a boat and we were glad we made the choice. The view of the river was glorious while sitting in the lounge and gazing out noticing fish and beautiful swans floating by. Paula and Marko were wonderful hosts easy to get along with and helpful in every way, even their cat was super friendly. Getting on and off the boat was also very easy. If you have been thinking of experiencing something peaceful and tranquil, I suggest do it.

Being on a boat is a nice change of pace. Storage for the 2 of us was ample. My husband & I need separate beds; he got our own cabins with a sliding door between and shared a bathroom (with a bidet!). The owners are interesting, active & lovely, and can make you feel like old friends. She speaks English & Italian fluently. The ancient ruins of Ostia Antica, are just on the other side of the waterway. They offer dinner at a very reasonable price, though our schedule didn't allow for it.
