Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
The Taj Palace Hotel is luxurious and the staff go above expectations to help the guests. The food is very good. The room staff are superb, they will go to great lengths to help you. I must mention Surej on the 3rd floor for going the extra mile to make my stay a very good experience.
I especially liked breakfast with the view of the bay and the fishing boats. The breakfast is great, very good range of choices and the staff at breakfast make you feel like very special.

The location near India Gate and the ferry boats was great. I was lucky to be located in a room with views of thrme city and the sea which was fabulous. Sitting on my balcony drinking tea and watching the sun rise was wonderful. The staff were very thoughtful and brought a footbath to my room without request. Musicians at breakfast time were very talented.
The location is good and room was clean. The room is a bit like staying on a boat with low ceilings, I was also up in the gods, but it was clean and good value for money.
great location for Mumbai, in colaba . a few minutes away on foot from The Gateway to India / the boats to go to Elephanta island . also close to Fort

Property in a great location, very close to the sea and also tourist spots like the gate of India, elephanta island boat and also the Taj palace. Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and good working a/c.
After checking out I got soaked on the boat on the way to Elephanta Caves. They kindly allowed me to have a shower and get out of my wet clothes when I came back to pick up my luggage.
The view from the room is fabulous and that has to be my high point! The room opened into a balcony which has view of Gateway and boats. Amazing.
