We booked the house boat b+b because of the novelty staying on a boat. We enjoyed looking out onto the river from our room and we had a comfortable bed. The owners are very welcoming and helpful.

It felt like a real treat to stay here. We felt very welcome, communication before and during was easy and clear. The rooms look out onto the river plus you can see the tops of the castle and cathedral in the centre of town from the boat, which was a 20/30 min walk away. You can hear the traffic on the bridge nearby but it wasn't overbearing, mainly we enjoyed the river and its wildlife. The owners were friendly and ensured our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was so good!

Loved this quirky boat hotel - the owners have done a great job doing this up with a lovely room overlooking the river, with lots of outside space to enjoy the views. The pub up the road provided a great evening meal and all the locals were very friendly.

It feels like a really original place to stay, the boat has history as a floating lighthouse. Now it's parked up right on the edge of the Medway. We enjoyed staying here and seeing the changing skies and all the other boats out of the windows. When we arrived, the hosts gave us tea and cake and we watched a sunset from the slightly windy terrace outside! The bedroom has loads of nice design touches, and the breakfast room is lovely too with a well-presented continental breakfast.

Too expensive for what it is. Very basic accomodation, but ckean and friendly stuff. Close to town, Strood station and nice Boat House pub at the river
