Moored in the Lochrin Basin, within a short walk from Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle, The Four Sisters Boatel is a four star, luxury, self-catering houseboat. The accommodation includes free WiFi access and stylish bedrooms.

It was a novel way to stay in the city. Once on the boat, you felt like you were far away from the hussel and bussel. Cosy and comfortable. It was clean and had everything you would need.

Being on a boat the room was not huge. However, the en suite shower room was great. There was a great choice at the buffet breakfast. To cap it all the staff are very good. The location is very convenient for a number of restaurants and transport into Edinburgh city centre.

The location was well placed for us, and it was easy to jump on the main tram. I cannot emphasize this enough. We should have stayed more nights. For the same price as some central accomodations you get to sleep on a boat. Cleanliness was top notch, and everything on the ship was well put together and design wise spoke to each other. Staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast area is beautiful. The bathroom looks amazing. You will not see such tiling in real buildings.

We had a Queen room which was quite compact but the space was well utilised providing outstanding comfort. The boat was o a great location; 10min walk to Royal Yacht Britannia and only a short bus ride into Edinburgh city centre.

I felt deceived, not saying this is "boat hotel " Very small narrow rooms with incline... The sink was so small... Breakfast so uncomfortable to have because of the incline Not recommend, beware!!
