We liked the host, the boat, the river view, the bed. It was a very pleasant stay. The boat stood still, it didn't rock at all, so possibly even people with seasickness could consider this hotel.
The accomodation, restaurant and bar were all excellent.
The staff were all wonderful, very welcoming from the start...great humour also. Bar staff Save and Salah get honourable mentions. The staff on were so accommodating also as I was very late for breakfast but nothing was too much trouble.
Views from the boat were fantastic.
The room was funky
All hotel staff was amazing, especially the receptionist that was working on the check-in. We received some good tips from him for the Hamburg boat cruise. Also, the breakfast selection was first class with a lot of different food to choose from. Keep up the good work.
I could see my cruise ship passing by my window the morning I was going on my cruise. All ships coming from Cuxhaven side pass by the hotel on route to the harbor and cruise terminal. It was great going by boat bus to my hotel.
Very modern and clean studio apartments. In a great location, just a short walk from the nearest S-Bahn Station and near the harbour boat trips. In the middle of some wonderful cafes and Spanish and Portuguese restaurants. The staff team were very friendly and welcoming and more than happy to help in any way.
Hamburg is spread out and finding the right hotel is a bit of a challenge. We wanted to be close enough to the action to enjoy where we were staying, but not so close that the noise and crowds became a problem. The ACOTEL Onyx was spot on. Positioned on the Reeperbahn right next to a railway station, but few blocks walk to the real hullabaloo of St Pauli. The position also means it’s close to the Langdungsbrucken wharves for boat tours etc. Add to that the comfortable, well presented rooms and you are on a winner here.
Clean, comfortable room which one was enough. Parking backside of hotel (lot of spaces).

Gas heathers on the walls and you can easy regulate which temprature you would like.
We use ferry Boat to go to Hamburg (very easy buy the tickets in the port and go there) + you must to take the train/bus also to came to old centrum. Dog of course everywhere with us without problem and charge free.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff. Location was great, highly recommend a trip to the harbour. Especially the Elbphilharmonie observation deck. Fantastic views. A boat cruise is also worth doing. The U-boat is interesting & worth a visit. We were so lucky with the weather & also there was a cruise ship festival going on which was great to see the ships.

After hotel wifi registration to H rewards programme received daily ticket to public transport for free!
Very kind offer from hotel! With ticket to public transport were posdible to take all U-Bahn, S-Bahn, busses and city boats (reccomend take Nr 62 which goes over big part of Hamburger port). Daily ticket itself is worth of 8Eur/day.
Would be happy to visit Intercity Hotel again.
