Location was the driver behind picking best western and it was perfect for walking distance to most of the favourite historic locations to visit.Room was ok for family of 4 but be prepared to have 2 smaller type single beds which are ok. daily maid kept on top of room.staff were helpful and fluent English.
If you are looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable room at an excellent price, I highly recommend this Best Western. The Thai Art restaurant across the street was wonderful. And the breakfast café right next door was perfect. There are many places to eat nearby. This is a culturally diverse neighborhood, very vibrant. Shopping nearby with a pedestrian street. Nice area to walk around.
One of the BEST, best westerns I've stayed in. Initially I thought we were on the outskirts but realised quite quickly that this was perfect location for those who like a 20 min walk to all the sights. 20-30-40 mins walk to EVERYTHING you'd wish to see . Alexanderplatz, The Wall, Brandenburg gate , Checkpoint charlie ect . PERFECT..
I have stayed many times at Best Western am Spittelmarkt - easy to get there - located in the middle of Berlin - nice staff - great breakfast wit free newspapers - fine rooms. - - The taxi that picked me up from the airport was very good extra service
This hotel had great value and excellent service. We booked it at the very last minute after our original accommodations elsewhere did not meet expectations and Best Western accommodated us and exceeded our expectations with great value for the price.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times when it was owned by Best Western as the location is great for the many bars and restaurants in the area and it is convenient for transport links. The B and B chain took over in November and there seemed to be few changes. The buffet breakfast is good and it felt very safe as there was plenty of space for the few guests to socially distance.
